Well, the time is coming up fairly quickly that the Friend family will no longer be a part of Cache Valley. I must admit I am excited about that. But the thing I will miss the most about being here is fishing with the friends I have made over our 5 years here. This post is just going to play catch up from last fall until now. It will include pictures of my last ice fishing season, as well as some pics of fish already caught this spring. Enjoy!
Andy on Newton
Spawning kokanee salmon at Porcupine
Newton looking pretty low
Duck hunting - there's a fox there on the bank
Deer hunt with my friend Jared. Overlooking Cache Valley from Green Canyon, and Jared's 3x4 muley.
Beginning of ICE!!
Derek's nice trout and bass.
Nice little haul from Mantua
Pineview fun
Pretty day at Hyrum
Perch jerkin' at Newton. Gotta love it when the finder shows lots of fish!
Bear Lake Mackinaw
Sometimes the fish is just too big
Fly fishing on the Blacksmith fork. Little browns, but pretty colors.
Skinny but pretty browns on the Logan
Chasing carp with John (his big ugly one)
Cutler fun!
Hopefully there will be more to come over my last month in Cache Valley. Then I might have a few updates from North Central Arkansas. But just enjoy these until then.
I created this after a friend created one for himself. This simply shares my fishing adventures with those who want to see what I enjoy doing in my spare time. Pictured below is my greatest catch to date, a 39.5-inch, 20-lb tiger muskie taken through the ice at Newton Reservoir in Newton, UT.
